EDA
The Engine Data Acquisition system is an interface system utilising
the transducers, software and data transmission developed for
the P15. Transducer signals are transmitted to the serial port
of a personal computer via a 232/485 converter. The PIPER software
allows the same P15 -13 channels to be displayed on the screen.
The operator can add engine build specifications and other notes
of importance manually. Data can be selected and stored on disk
or output as hard copy via a dot matrix printer.
