GO-KART DYNO

Piper in conjunction with Tec-Mec are proud to introduce our PT 500I Go-Kart Chassis Dynamometer.

The PT 500I is designed to be a flexible, accurate, leading edge technology dynamometer utilising Piper’s proven dynamometer technology and windows based software and Tec-mec’s supreme manufacturing capabilities.

The PT 500I allows for the testing of either the engine utilising the top mounting fixtures or the engine mounted in the chassisThe dynamometer uses a carefully weighted and balanced flywheel joined to the top input mounting fixture by a chain and sprocket while the in - chassis testing fixture is connected directly to the flywheel.
Both input shafts are isolated from the flywheel by a set of clutches in case of engine seizure/failure.
